2026-2027 GENERAL AUDITIONS
Theatre Encounter invites artists not yet known to the company to audition for their upcoming 2026 and 2027 projects.
Performing artists of all backgrounds with an interest in Expressionism, physical theatre, dance, and/or experimental processes are encouraged to apply. Upcoming projects include musicals, works based on classic texts, and ongoing development of new devised works.
Auditions will take place June 12 (evening) and 13 (daytime) at Theatre Encounter’s Abattoir Studio (135-1721 29th Ave CALGARY AB)
To submit, please send a brief introduction, headshot and CV to artisticproducer@theatreencounter.com by EOD May 27.
Audition slots are limited. We thank all applicants in advance for their interest. Those selected to audition will be contacted by May 31.

Theatre Encounter regularly presents exhibitions of works by visual artists working in styles other than Realism. Please watch this space for future opportunities.
